Samantha Haskell - Practice Manager
Samantha Haskell is our Practice Manager here at Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital. Samantha received her B.S. in Animal Science from UC Davis in 2002 with a special interest in animal behavior. She also has her A.S. in Chemistry and Biology from Sierra College in Rocklin as well as a Graduate Certificate in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. In addition to her passion for animals, Samantha was also a foster parent for over 7 years in San Joaquin county. She currently has a household consisting of an African Grey, Pit-bull, Chihuahua, four beautiful children, and an awesome partner. In her free time she enjoys camping and fishing trips with the family. Her primary goal here at Paws and Claws is to ensure quality care for our patients and earn our clients trust and devotion.
Dr. Hanh Do
Dr. Hanh Do DVM is one of the Associated Veterinarians here at Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2006. She obtained her Veterinarian degree in Small Animal Medicine from University of California, Davis. She is internship trained in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Surgery from Ventura Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, CA. Dr. Do currently resides in Manteca, CA with her husband and her fur babies. In her free time she enjoys the outdoors, camping, hiking, and cooking. Dr. Do strives to provide the best care for all her patients and looks forward to meeting you and your four legged family members!
Dr. Bethany Jackson
Dr. Bethany Jackson is a board certified veterinary cardiologist. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rotating internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, followed by a cardiology internship and residency at MedVet Medical and Cancer Centers for Pets in Worthington, OH. She is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the sub- specialty of Cardiology.Dr. Jackson's interest in cardiology stemmed from experience with her own dog being under the care of a veterinary cardiologist. She saw first hand how access to specialty consultation can help to further patient care. Her goal is to provide timely, accurate, and detailed cardiology consultations to allow accurate diagnosis and treatment of cardiac disease in pets so they can live long, fulfilling lives.
Dr. Connie Hung
Dr. Connie Hung Dr. Connie Hung DVM is one of our Associate Veterinarians here at Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital. She was born in Hong Kong, and grew up in San Francisco, California. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the prestigious University of California Davis, with a focus in small animal medicine. Her special interests include small animal surgery, internal medicine, and behavior. In her free time, Dr. Hung enjoys staying active, whether it is hiking, a night at the gym, snowboarding, or biking with her Labrador-Terrier mix, Waffle. She also has two cats named Jello and Butter. Knowing how pets touch our hearts in special ways, she looks forward to meeting and helping your family.
Dr. Sandeep Chahal
Dr. Sandeep Chahal DVM is an Associate Veterinarian here at Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital. He graduated from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, in Punjab India. He is excited to join the team here at Paws and Claws and is very enthusiastic about providing excellent veterinary care for your pets. At home, he is blessed with a wonderful wife and an adorable 3 year old daughter, as well as a crazy energetic German Shepherd, Candy.
Dr. Diljit Kamboj
Dr. Diljit Kamboj DVM is one of the Associated Veterinarians here at Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Kamboj graduated from Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana, Punjab, India with BVSC & AH and MVSC. He was also an assistant professor in the university before migrating to the US in 1995. He completed his internship at Tuskegee University in Alabama, prior to licensing in California. Dr. Kamboj worked in Stockton for three years and at South Sacramento Pet Hospital since 2001. He is passionate about high-quality veterinary care for his beloved patients, with emphasis on preventive care and client education. He enjoys performing soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. He feels blessed to have such a wonderful family that includes his lovely wife, two brilliant kids, and their poodle Oreo. He takes great pride in what he does and looks forward to serving you and your pet.
Dr. Kamaljit Brar Singh
Dr. Kamaljit Brar Singh DVM is one of the Associated Veterinarians here at Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital. Born and raised in Punjab, India he graduated in 1994 with his BVSC and AH from Punjab Agricultural University, in Ludhiana India. After graduating, he entered into the ECFVG Program at Mississippi State University. Shortly after completing his coursework in 2000, he came to Stockton to work alongside Dr. Gurpreet Singh. Dr. KB Singh is a member of the CVMA and AVMA. He married his wife, Sukh, in 1998 and they have two wonderful kids. In his free time he enjoys tennis, basketball, and working out. Helping pets is his passion and Dr. KB Singh looks forward to meeting you.
Dr. Gurpreet Singh
Dr. Gurpreet Singh DVM is one of the Associated Veterinarians here at Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital. He has been practicing in Stockton since 1999 and is a member of the CVMA, AVMA, and NSJVMA. Dr. Singh's special interests include small animal soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and internal medicine. He has been married to his beautiful wife for 18 years, they have 3 great children. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors, being a dad, running, and gardening. Dr. Singh takes great pride in what he does and looks forward to meeting you and help your four legged family members.
Dr. Lubomir Brezula
Dr. Lubomir Brezula DVM is one of the Associated Veterinarians here at Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Brezula graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Kosice, Slovak Republic (former Czechoslovakia) he is a member of AVMA and CVMA. Emergency medicine and small animal critical care is his passion and specialty. He has been married for 33 years and has one son. In his free time he enjoys being with his family, cooking, and the outdoors.
Jeanne Wallace-Customer Service Representative
Jeanne Wallace has always been a lover of animals. Five years as an animal nurse in Livermore before she left to become an Occupational Health and Safety Engineer at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory for 15 years. Later running her own marketing company for 10 year. Finally she came back to her first love, animals. As she puts it, "I love animals and people, helping both is the perfect job." Jeanne has 1 dog "Robert" and her cat 'Samuel" but actually she says that every pet that comes into our office is hers to care for and love until they go home. If you need to be reassured, encouraged, hugged or just receive a smile, Jeanne is the one to go to.
Blanca Tavarez, RVT - Nursing Staff
Blanca Tavarez has been working in the Veterinary Field as a nurse since 2011. She is a licensed Registered Veterinary Technician, an all around girl who knows the ins and outs of great care. Her gentle spirit brings a very peaceful ambience to the pets and their owners. Outside of the office Blanca is quite the twinkle toes on the dance floor. She enjoys spending time with her family and her 4 dogs and three birds. Blanca is a team player who excels at helping others, she is a treasure to all of us!
Danyell Rose, RVT - Nursing Staff
Danyell's love for animals started at an early age. She grew up on a ranch caring for large and small animals. When she was two she was given a cow as a pet that she named Dobbs. Living in the country also allowed her the opportunity to care for various orphaned and injured wild animals. In 2012 she decided to turn her love for animals into a career with the support and encouragement of her children. Danyell decided to return to college to get an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology. She will be graduating in the summer of 2015. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her children. Currently she has 3 dogs, 2 cats, 17 chickens, and 1 rabbit.
Lauren Seegers - Nursing Staff
Lauren's childhood passion for animals blossomed into a career. After completely High School, Lauren began attending Carrington College in Stockton, CA. In 2015 Lauren graduated with her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology. In her spare time Lauren loves to travel with her family, and takes every opportunity to experience and learn new things. Lauren also enjoys spending time at home with her 3 dogs and 3 cats. One day Lauren hopes to continue her education and study zoology.
Jennifer Stipe - Nursing Staff
Jennifer Stipe started her career in veterinary medicine in 2009 after graduating with an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology. She started caring for animals at a young age helping her father and grandfather on the family farm. Although growing up she mainly cared for calves and piglets, she loves working with small animals. Jennifer's brood consists of 2 cats , Hairy and Stella, and 2 dogs , Beast and Dominique. When she is not at work Jennifer enjoys time with her family, walks with her dogs, and participates in self defense classes. Jennifer is very excited to be a part of the team here at Paws and Claws and looks forward to meeting the both the patients and their owners.
Samantha Mapalo - Nursing Staff
Samantha has always had a love for animals, but her strive to become a veterinary technician didn't quite blossom until she was twenty. She is a recent graduate from Carrington College with an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology. She is currently studying for her Nationals and State Board Exam to become a licensed technician. Samantha hopes to someday specialize in anesthesia or dentistry, and eventually use her knowledge to work with elephants in Thailand. In her free time, Samantha enjoys photography, swimming, traveling, attending music festivals, and spending time with her two cats, Sven and Shasta.
Mandeep Gurm - Management
Mike Gurm is the Office Manager at Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital. Mike graduated from MJC with an Associated Science Degree and has a background in Pharmacy Technology. He has had the pleasure to work alongside with both Dr. Kamaljit Brar Singh and with Dr. Gurpreet Singh since 1999. Mike is married to his beautiful wife ,Rupi, since 2002 and they have three daughters, and a son with two lovely pets Cheetah and Laddoo. With a house full of wonderful kids his honey-do list gets longer and longer. So keeping busy around the house is what Mike does on his free time. If Mike gets lucky and finishes his list he really enjoys cooking; what a great way to end the day, with food! Mike loves what he does and looks forward to meeting you with your beloved companions.
Always enthusiastic, Emjay recently joined the Paws and Claws Team with an extensive background in customer service and was raised in and around the veterinary field. Born in India and raised in Northern California, he prides himself on his diversity and enjoys being sociable. He has two Associate's degrees from San Joaquin Delta College and plans to further his education. He spends his leisure time dabbling in multiple hobbies including: reading, sports, barbering, and most importantly, spending time with his beloved dog Bulbul.
